Body waxing is a hair removal treatment where wax is applied to the skin in the areas that have unwanted hair, when the wax is removed - so is the unwanted hair!

While we strive to make all of our treatments as comfortable and painless as possible, sometimes waxing and usually any form of hair removal may have a slight bit of discomfort due to the hair being removed from the root. It is important to understand that while waxing is not 100% painless, you should never be in accessive pain - moments of brief “sting” once the wax is removed is normal. But depending on the area - most of our clients report being extremely surprised at how comfortable waxing really is.

The amazing thing about waxing is as long as you have hair, most everyone is a candidate! You DO NOT need to recieve waxing howvever is you -
1.) Are or have recently been on Accutane
2.) Are prone to cold sores or Herpes outbreaks
3.) Use Retinoids such as Retin- A, Renova, Diferin, tretinoin, and or any prescription-strength retinols in the area of treatment. You MUST wait at least 7 days after discontinuing use before getting waxing done in that area.

Body waxing is a procedure to remove unwanted hair from its roots. A “hard” wax is applied to the skin and allowed to cool. The cooled wax is then quickly pulled away, taking the hairs with it. hair will grown back in approximately 3-6 weeks in which you will need to be waxed again. waxing is not a permanent hair removal solution, however with commitment, waxed areas will grow back thinner, lighter and more sparse.
waxing can not be performed if you are on Accutane, On any Retinoids (Retin-A,Tretinoin, hydroquinone etc.), or if you had any chemical peels or skin lightning procedures done in the area of treatment Within set timeframes.
